Barbara, the Industrial Edge AI platform provider, and EdgeAI Solutions, an Industrial Edge AI architecture and deployment company, today announced a partnership to help IPC and Edge AI manufacturers deploy at scale while addressing the requirements of the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
As industrial Edge AI moves from pilots to production, manufacturers face a growing challenge: delivering not only capable hardware, but complete systems that can be securely deployed, operated, updated and managed throughout their lifecycle.
The collaboration between Barbara and EdgeAI Solutions addresses this challenge by bringing together complementary capabilities.
EdgeAI Solutions will define the target architecture and coordinate the CRA-readiness approach, while Barbara provides the software platform that runs and sustains it across the device lifecycle.
Through Barbara OS and Barbara Panel, manufacturers can add the operational software layer required to remotely deploy, monitor and update applications and AI models across distributed industrial Edge infrastructures.
EdgeAI Solutions complements this capability with Industrial Edge AI architecture, deployment expertise and CRA-readiness coordination, incorporating specialized cybersecurity and CRA expertise where required.
Together, the companies aim to develop repeatable Edge AI reference configurations that allow IPC manufacturers to add a deployment and lifecycle service layer around their existing hardware portfolio.
The model is designed to work with manufacturers' existing commercial channels, allowing distributors, system integrators and other partners to continue playing their current role while adding new value around deployment, orchestration, cybersecurity, regulatory readiness and lifecycle management.
